Remember this is an Eco Day Tour so to make it the MOST ENJOYABLE DAY YOU HAVE HAD, Please wear only comfortable clothing. When we are away from the vehicle and you would like to leave your personal belongings behind, the vehicle is fully lockable for your security.
We walk along the Gorge walkway. Here we look to see Dolphins, Manta Rays and Turtles playing in the waves. Many large fish can also be seen from this point. This point is the most Easterly point in Queensland. So you can see why it is so popular with whale watchers. On 11/08/2002 we witnessed a Humpback Whale actually give birth right in front of us. Nature at it's best!
When we are on Flinders beach and your tour guide is preparing a delicious BBQ lunch you can swim, fish or just simply relax. We take our time here on "Straddie", that is why every customer is so satisfied with the relaxing, no stress itinery.

This is a full Day of FUN and ADVENTURE!
Times and details of your Tour!
We will pick you up outside your accommodation Hotel, Motel or Resort at approximately 7:00 am to 7:30 am.
We then proceed to Cleveland where you will board our ultra modern catermeran for the fast 25 minute journey across Moreton Bay to Dunwich on "Straddie".
Once settled the cruise takes us passed the Peel Island and also Horseshoe Bay where boats and yachts from all around the world moor for a quick swim. We are advised to cruise at 4 knots in this area. Once passed this we speed up. Sit back and relax. The beautiful small Islands we pass are really unique.
This is a great way to spend the morning! We land at the terminal in Dunwich. From here you will enlighten from our catermeran and proceed to your 4WD vehicle.
The Tour will take you the full circle from one side of the Island to the other. We call into Brown Lake. We walk down to the lake and experience the water. We can swim at all the spots we stop at! We then travel through the National Park and make our way onto Main Beach. Yes 32 kilometres of pure white sand!
On travelling North along Main beach we detour to the lovely "Keyholes". A series of beautiful freshwater lakes. We stop and have a cuppa and some AUSSIE DAMPER. Travelling back along the beach we come to the North Gorge where we walk out to he most Easterly point in Queensland. From here we can view the Humpback whales (in season) or see our Dolphins playing in the waves. There are Turtles, Manta Rays and a variety of large fish to be seen.
After the Gorge walk we head for Flinders Beach for our sumptuous BBQ on the beach. This is truely a highlight! The Worlds best dining room. You can fish swim or just simply relax as your tour guide prepares your lunch.
After lunch we enjoy the beach setting. You can continue with your fishing, snorkelling, swimming or just catching up with your tan. We then head to Amity Point and look for fish on the jetty. At 3:00 pm we head back into Dunwich for the return journey home, only to stop to hopefully see our Koala called "Karamello".
This is a full Day of FUN and ADVENTURE!
We then cast off at 3:30 pm sharp and head back to Cleveland where you will be met by your coach driver who will take you back to your accommodation. The time should be around 4:45pm.
