Blue lake is housed in natural surroundings within walking distance from the road. The walk is 2.4 kilometres one way. As you can see from the picture, the lake's water is crystal clear and inviting. There is lots of wildlife here, especially in the mornings and afternoons as the animals come from afar to have a drink of the cool water. It is a great place to do a spot of bird watching.
