Whether action or relaxation is what you're after. The Islander is the perfect holiday spot.
After settling in let us show you this Island Paradise. Come relax on our "4wd Island Eco Tour" of Straddie. Enjoy our famous BBQ on the beach. Scenic views and much more. Bookings can be made at the office. We leave daily at 0830 am. Return when we have had enough fun! (usually about 6 hours).
On those other lazy days you may prefer swimming at the beach or the beautiful freshwater lakes on the island. Not to forget the popular pastime of fishing (from the rocks, in the surf, on the bay or by boat) or a moonlight stroll on the beach. You might even be lucky enough to spot a whale, dolphin or turtle in their natural habitat.
The Bowls Club (200m) and Hotel (300m) are only a short walk. Bushwalking, bird watching and picnics will also make for a great day out.
Go Fishing with Dave from Straddie Kingfisher Tours he will take you on a remarkable adventure to Jumpinpin Bar (32 km of beach) and back!
