Island 4WD Eco Tour of "Straddie" with pick-up from your Hotel, Motel or Resort accommodation in the greater Brisbane area.
We will take you to visit the Fresh Water Lakes and walk out to the North Gorge at Point Lookout where you can see Humpback Whales (in season), Dolphins, Turtles, Manta Rays, and other large fish (sharks).We also drive along Main beach where we detour and drive over the sand dunes to the lovely "Keyholes". A series of beautiful freshwater window lakes. Great place for a cup of tea and some "Aussie" Damper. We also drive along Flinders Beach. This is the beach where we find the perfect spot for a lunchtime BBQ on the beach. We also visit the 3 townships and discuss the history of these areas. You will see views at Myora Springs where we can see our resident KOALA called Karamello. All the bush tracks we travel in are lined with beautiful wildflowers.
