Just a 35 minute drive from Brisbane city, or 50 minutes from the Gold Coast, North Stradbroke is easily accessed from Redland Bay, where a 45 minute crossing on the fast vehicular ferry will take you to Dunwich. North Stradbroke Island is accessed from the end of Middle Street in Cleveland where Stradbroke Ferries offer a 40 to 50 minute trip over to Dunwich by vehicular Ferry and Gold Cats offers you a quick 25 minute run to this Island Paradise by Modern and Comfortable Water Taxis. The timetables are posted on their web sites. Stradbroke Ferries also run Water Taxis to Dunwich from here on an hourly basis.
