  • When to use 4WD (know your vehicle)
  • Principles & characteristic
  • Vehicle components & capability
  • What is differential wind-up?
  • Rescue & recovery techniques
  • Correct use of “snatch strap”
  • Practical demonstrations on soft sand
  • Practical recovery technique
  • Practical test with lots of soft sand driving!
  • Course duration approximately 3 to 4 hours
