Island 6 hour 4WD Tour

Times and details of your 6 hour 4WD Tour of “Straddie”

• Pick up time is at 9.00am outside your Island accommodation or 9.20am from water taxi in Dunwich. (Water taxi leaves Cleveland at 8.55am gets to Dunwich at 9.20am)
• After looking at the map we decide on the best way to see this Island Paradise to suit the tides
• We drive the full circle of the Northern section of the Island to experience the best vantage points
• We visit Brown Lake and the Keyholes where we stop for a Cuppa and some “Aussie Tucker”
• Drive through the Blue Lake National Park to Main Beach stop on beach for photos & “Pippy” digging
• Driving to Point Lookout’s North Gorge where we hope to see dolphins, turtles and manta rays
• From June to November we spot the majestic Humpback Whales from this point
• We then drive onto Flinders Beach for our famous BBQ on the beach for lunch
• After lunch you can take more photos, swim (boogie boards supplied FREE), enjoy beach games or just simply relax
• From Flinders Beach we drive to Amity Point where we have a couple of resident Koalas to see
• We have a look at Amity and then head back to your Island accommodation at about 3.00pm.

• Sunscreen of your choice
• Your swimming costumes
• Sunglasses and a hat
• A dry towel
• Camera
• A BIG SMILE!
