- Your family/group will need to catch the 08.55 am Water Taxi from Cleveland to Dunwich
- The boat ride takes you across Moreton Bay arriving in Dunwich at 09.20 am
- We will meet you as you step ashore (can’t miss me)
- We then travel to Brown Lake for a quick paddle in the healing waters and continue
- Driving through the Blue Lake National Park to Main Beach
- Here we stop and have a Cuppa and some “Aussie Damper” for morning tea (looking for
whales)
- When we arrive at the North Gorge there is FREE time to do the complete North Gorge
walk
- This is the most Easterly Point in Queensland very popular for its beautiful blue
scenic outlook
- Whilst looking for more majestic Humpback Whales you can also spot other life in
the blue water
- Dolphins,turtles, manta rays and sharks can be seen from this vantage point as they
swim along
- Lunch is provided at the “Captain Cook’s seat” just in front of a grassy hill with
a great view. Ham & salad rolls, cake and fruit plus drinks.
- After lunch more Whale Watching until 2.00pm when we drive back to Dunwich for your
return
- We catch the 2.25 pm water taxi back to Cleveland so you will be in Cleveland at
approx 3.00 pm.
- You do have an option to stay at Point Lookout and return via bus at a later time
if it suits you.
