“Straddie Kingfisher Tours” started over 11 years ago now because Dave and Margaret Thelander

have such a passion for the Island. We wanted to show this Paradise to the World in a sustainable way.

So we have been providing 4WD Eco Tours on this Island since we started. People have commented

that this is the “best day we have had in OZ!” and alike comments are to many to count.

Each and every customer provides us with something different and unique just like Straddie does for

them. They learn about all the different cultures and the vast amount of history we have here, learn

about the wildlife and the beautiful flora we have on this Island.

We now include sand boarding and kayaking so people can enjoy more of what this Island Paradise has to offer.
