What a wonderful day! The sky was blue and the water was lots of hues of blue. We saw koalas and dolphins and learnt a lot about the island from Dave. He made us fresh warm damper and billy tea in the traditional way and cooked a mean BBQ lunch. We had exciting times, for us, along the beach in the 4WD and the tag-along convoy. Clear your head and connect with nature and have a great time with Dave.

Dave is an excellent guide & took us to places we couldn't get to on our own. He showed us koalas in the trees. Had a great morning tea of billy tea & damper as well as a great BBQ lunch near the beach.

Atendimento maravilhoso! Dave fez um excelente churrasco australiano e nos levou com segurança e atenção, para conhecer a ilha. Muito responsáveis na contratação feita. Adoramos!

Wife and I did the tag a long tour with Dave where you follow the 6hr eco tour in your own 4WD. A great introduction if new to 4WDing and a chance to build confidence with Dave’s tips and watchful eye. Even though we are regular Straddie visitors, the tour got us to parts of the island we hadn’t seen before.

We got collected by Dave and from the offset the adventure began, he was inquisitive, friendly, polite and great company. He showed us the oldest pub 1851 and the oldest Strangler Fig in QLD, the ferry over was enjoyable and then the tour began, after a short while we stopped for tea and cake and it was very nice all home made and real tea, then off for some bushwhacking before arriving at one of the beaches and what an amazing place, Dave was communicative and great he whole journey, he then drove us along the beach to a spot where he set-up lunch, I went for a swim and came out to a very enjoyable and healthy feed, drinks and company, he suggested we walked along the beach and he would pick us up once he had packed up. Dave then took us to Point Lookout the amazing views, sounds and place was great. He then drove us along the beach and then towards the ferry back to the main land before driving us back to Brisbane. I enjoyed myself beyond belief and Dave made it such a great experience, I’d recommend this to everyone. Thank you.
