Just a quick note to thank you for making our stay on Straddie a bit more special. My family really enjoyed the whole day, especially your knowledge about the island. I will certainly tell anyone i know who is visiting Straddie to make contact with you. A wonderful day out.
Thank you and hope to catch up again one day,

Hi, I'm Kyoko from the tour yesterday.
Thank you so much for an awesome tour!!!
All the scenery, foods, wild life, your stories, etc. everything was just amazing and my friends and I had a wonderful day!!
Since it was my first sightseeing in Queensland, I was so glad that you were my first guide!
I am totally in love with your Island!
The Brown Lake was absolutely beautiful.
Running through the beach by your 4WD was absolutely exciting.
It was a lovely time to have lunch at the beautiful beach in an 'Aussie' way!
Thanks for the cooking as well.
The scenery from the point lookout was astonishing.
When I saw you picking up the rubbish,
I sincerely hoped for this beautiful Straddie Island to last forever.
I must visit again during my stay in Brisbane!!
And if I could visit, please be my guide again!!^^
Again, thank you for such a wonderful day.
Wishing you all the best!

It's Lee here - you had the pleasure (I think!) of taking Sandra and I around the island last Friday (what? You've forgotten already? Nooo...!). You'll be pleased to know we are still alive (the Sweet Death didn't claim us) and still thinking about the beautiful day we had last week. Thanks so much for the tour, and for your patience, and for all the knowledge you imparted - you'll also be pleased to know that the Bridal Bush is a real thing (I had my doubts after the eagle egg story), but the Banks-here thing is still in contention. Also, the Coral Fern IS STILL ALIVE! It's in a glass of water and doesn't show a spot of droop. Amazing!!!
Anyway, as promised, here are some photos from the day. Thanks again - I have no doubt you'll see us again. Treasure Island is definitely on the cards....so long as there are no sharks!
All the best, and take care, and thanks again for the fabulous day....
Support for Purple Ball for Epilepsy
Thank you for a fabulous night!
Thank you for joining us and/or supporting Epilepsy Queensland’s 3rd Purple Ball and for helping to make it a successful night. For those who were able to attend, we trust that you enjoyed the wonderful night of purple glitz, glamour, fundraising, fine dining and entertainment.
Once again Purple Ball raised awareness about epilepsy and Epilepsy Queensland, and with your help raised vital funds of $35,000 plus to help people with epilepsy and their families. Without you this could not have been achieved. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt thanks for your contributions.
The Purple Ball launched our Epilepsy Awareness Campaign for the month of March. If you would like to continue your involvement to help spread awareness, celebrate in purple, sell merchandise and/or fundraise for Epilepsy Queensland, culminating on Purple Day, 26 March, please visit www.epilepsyqueensland.com.au/purple-day or email our Fundraising Team.
Thank you again. If you would like to share your thoughts about how we can improve our events we'd love to hear from you.

Hi Dave – thanks! Phil and I were just saying (this morning over coffee with friends) how much we enjoyed our day on Straddie with Dave – tour, island, fellow visitors from Belgium, very nice people indeed, obliging and unflappable tour guide ie yourself, commentary, Aussie-isms (!) , philosophy on the wearing of shoes/going bare foot, sausages/salads/lunch (gluten free of course!), homemade damper, expressions to remember eg “a good paddock”, or ‘a can of beer in your ear ‘; pronunciation tips for o’seas tourists eg “ Cairns as in 2 cans of beer – leave out the r -” and so on. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to thank you very much for your inimitable style and friendly approach which certainly makes the day. Best regards, Marie and Philip

Yesterday afternoon we arrived back home in Singapore.
We enjoyed our holiday in Queensland, but after 3 weeks in a camper we are happy to have our convenient environment again :-).
It was a nice but tiring holiday, especially since a lot of driving was required and our son Rune got bored of driving after 2 hours.
Thank you for the nice day out on N. Stradbroke.
I will definitely miss the outdoor life in my closed office, still we will wait a few years before we trave again. It was tiring with one child, so it won't get easier with the second child coming in 5 months.
Thank you again.
Esko, Cindy & Rune.

"First thing I looked at were Dave's feet, and he is truly barefoot. Pam and I had a most wonderful day with Dave on Straddie. Although the whales weren't jumping we did see them spouting from the scenic overlook. We also saw whales at Byron Bay below the lighthouse and also on our way to the Outer Barrier. Been home a week and already miss Australia. Thanks Dave."

Thank you for a most enjoyable day last Thursday. It was a most fantastic day and so much fun. As it has been years and years since I have been to Stradbroke Island it certainly was an eye opener. On the ferry coming over to meet you we talked about the Miramar and Mirvina coming to Amity Point – boy what a difference.
It was wonderful visiting the different accommodation places and seeing what a variety there is. The Gorge Walk was great and the water so clear.
Of course what can we say about Lunch on the beach we were so lucky that the weather was kind to us and we were able to just relax and enjoy such good food.
Please thank Darryl for me as he was most kind in helping us “oldies” in and out of the 4WD and so patient while our legs came back to normal.
(I was the one at the very back who locked the door all the time!!!!) It was good also hearing Darryl’s life on the Island.
Once again many thanks for such a wonderful day. Cannot wait to come back.
