Bush Track Driving Travel through peaceful bush tracks and enjoy the thrill of off‑road exploring. Historic Dunwich Cruise through Dunwich while your guide shares stories of the township’s rich Indigenous and European history. Morning Tea at Brown Lake Relax with a cuppa and fresh Aussie damper (with strawberry jam) beside Brown Lake — a stunning freshwater lake infused with natural Ti‑Tree oils. Main Beach to Point Lookout Drive along the sweeping sands of Main Beach, keeping an eye out for dolphins and migrating humpback whales (in season). We stop for photos and a refreshing swim if you’re keen. North Gorge Walk — Point Lookout Take in Queensland’s most easterly point. This lookout offers world‑class views and regular sightings of whales, dolphins, turtles, manta rays, and other marine life. How to get here to join us from the Mainland:
If you want to be independent and are coming from Brisbane we ask you to catch the 09.00am water taxi from Emmett Drive in Cleveland. So this is what you need to do!
For people who are travelling across to Straddie for the day!
For people already on Straddie, we will pick you up from your Island accommodation 08:15 am and then go to the water taxi terminal in Dunwich to meet the others coming across by boat from Cleveland. We all start the tour from here!

My boyfriend and I toured Straddie with Dave in 2009, while I was in Oz visiting my fella for the first time. We had a wonderful day--the island is beautiful, lunch was delicious, and the Thelanders could not have been more awesome. Now my fella and I are married, and I know we will go back to Straddie someday. I can't recommend Kingfisher Tours enough!
