Barefoot Dave's fishing report and What's On Straddie for the weekend. This lovely email came through, makes me so happy for doing what I am doing! Hi Dave,
It's Lee here - you had the pleasure (I think!) of taking Sandra and I around the island last Friday (what? You've forgotten already? Nooo...!). You'll be pleased to know we are still alive (the Sweet Death didn't claim us) and still thinking about the beautiful day we had last week. Thanks so much for the tour, and for your patience, and for all the knowledge you imparted - you'll also be pleased to know that the Bridal Bush is a real thing (I had my doubts after the eagle egg story), but the Banks-here thing is still in contention. Also, the Coral Fern IS STILL ALIVE! It's in a glass of water and doesn't show a spot of droop. Amazing!!! Anyway, as promised, here are some photos from the day. Thanks again - I have no doubt you'll see us again. Treasure Island is definitely on the cards....so long as there are no sharks! All the best, and take care, and thanks again for the fabulous day.... Lee |
